I was in the kitchen this afternoon with C4 on in the living room, when a song and voice playing prompted me to stop the task at hand (dishes!) and see who it was.

A face I recognized from a little cafe on Tamaki Drive in Auckland was looking back and performing a song that I now can't stop humming!

Wishing you all the very best for the future from NZ :-)

Wow, that's really well said. Interesting to hear more about how that constant ticking is part of Dying Daily. Definitely adds another dimension to the song to think about that.

I find NYC makes me so aware of time, all the time. Sometime it's good, since it can make me more focused and productive. Sometimes it's oppressive, and I end up unable to get much done because I'm so worried about getting so much done.

At this point I can almost feel a directly proportional relationship between my proximity to Manhattan, and the speed of time. I try to remind myself to be down with it, and go with the flow. But still, even something like reading an old classic for a couple hours is totally satisfying, because it slows down time... but I'm still enjoying it! Which is sorta like what you talked about feeling in the process of writing this post.

I find time fascinating, and appreciate hearing some of your thoughts. Really looking forward to the show tomorrow night, what time does it start?!
